The basics of booking, attending, and certifying through Riley Life Safety Training.

Who We Are
Riley Life Safety Training, LLC is a mobile safety-training company based in Joplin, Missouri. We teach American Heart Association and Safe Sitter® courses throughout the 4-state area — Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas — traveling up to 100 miles from Joplin for on-site group training. We do not operate a fixed classroom; classes are held at your location or at a space we arrange. Our course catalog lists what we offer and what each class costs.
Booking a Class
You can request a class through the booking form, by phone at (417) 208-7293, or by email. A request is not a confirmed booking until we reply and agree on a date. Prices listed on the course catalog are per person; group and on-site pricing is quoted directly.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. We are happy to work with you to find an alternative date. Reach us at (417) 208-7293 or hilary@rileylifesafetytraining.com.
Certification
Certification cards are issued by the American Heart Association or Safe Sitter®, not by us. We issue a card when a student successfully completes the course requirements set by that certifying body, including any required skills demonstration. Those standards are set by the AHA and Safe Sitter® — we follow them and cannot waive them. If a student does not meet a requirement, we will work with them on what comes next, but we cannot issue a card they have not earned.
ACLS requires a pre-test before class. Card validity periods are listed on each course in the catalog.
Your Responsibilities
Training is physical. CPR practice involves kneeling and performing chest compressions on a manikin. Tell us in advance about any injury, condition, or accommodation need so we can plan for it. For on-site group training, please provide a space with room to work and access to the facilities we agree on ahead of time.
Limitation of Liability
Our courses teach emergency response skills, but completing a course does not guarantee any particular outcome in a real emergency. Riley Life Safety Training, LLC provides instruction only; we are not responsible for how skills are applied outside of class. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from a course is limited to the amount paid for that course. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We keep the information on this site — pricing, course details, service area — accurate and current. If something here conflicts with what we tell you directly when booking, the booking confirmation governs.
