Our courses are taught by Hilary Riley, RN, and Kevin Riley, Paramedic. Together they bring over 55 combined years of emergency medicine experience, including EMS, emergency room, and flight experience. Both are certified American Heart Association instructors for BLS and Heartsaver courses.
Yes. All of our CPR, BLS, ACLS, and First Aid courses follow the latest American Heart Association guidelines. Upon successful completion, students receive an official AHA eCard — a digital certification card recognized by employers and healthcare organizations nationwide.
BLS for Healthcare Providers is designed for medical professionals and covers advanced skills including team-based resuscitation and bag-mask ventilation. Heartsaver CPR/AED is for the general public and workplace requirements, covering essential CPR and AED use. If you work in healthcare, you need BLS. For non-medical jobs or personal preparedness, Heartsaver is the right choice.
No medical background is required for Heartsaver CPR, Heartsaver First Aid, or the CPR/First Aid Combination courses — these are designed for the general public. BLS for Healthcare Providers is designed for medical professionals but does not require a specific prerequisite to enroll. ACLS Provider does require a current BLS Provider certification as a prerequisite.
